In 2012 David wanted to prepare a special gift to propose to his girlfriend. He hoped that the two main gems set on this gift were the kind of gemstones that he and his girlfriend each liked, which could be used to represent both of them. And also remembered that when they talked about the future, they hoped to have two children, so David also hoped to set two rows of different small gems around the main gems. He also wanted it to have their names and the proposal date. He imagined that when his children asked him how to ask for marriage to their mother, he could take out this gift and tell the story.

But he looked for all the jewellery stores he knew with this idea and couldn’t find what he wanted. As the planned marriage proposal date got closer, he contacted the factory that could produce the jewellery. Still, he was frustrated by all the factories asking him how many pieces to make or telling him there had to be enough to make them.

Finally, through the introduction of many friends, he found an old craftsman who had been making jewellery for decades and handcrafted this meaningful wedding gift. Now he realized what he imagined, has two children, and has told them the story.

But the story is not over yet, now David had an idea because of this experience, he hopes that all people like him who want to have a unique and meaningful gift can quickly achieve personalized customization needs, so he formed a team, leased the workshop, purchased equipment, and built an online store that serves those who need personalization jewellery.

After nearly ten years of development, David has five factories and formed a cooperative alliance with dozens of factories. He has always adhered to the original idea. He always remembers the moment when he proposed to his wife and sent a gift, his wife’s facial expressions.

In 2021, David established Ideaplus, hoping to empower more operators with flexible, customized production capabilities and meet the personalized customization needs of more people through more stores.
